The Community Sustainability Initiative was an 8-month public process that resulted in a Community Sustainability Action Plan. The initiative included three town hall meetings and work groups composed of volunteers from a diverse cross section of our community.
The Corvallis Energy Challenge was launched in March 2008. In partnership with the Energy Trust of Oregon, we are sponsoring a year-long campaign to promote energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in Corvallis. Our Sustainability Education Action Team produces a monthly calendar of sustainability events sponsored by Coalition partners.
In addition, we produce "E-Update" - news briefs published every other week to keep you informed of the activities of the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition and to invite your participation.
