The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition is a a network of organizations and citizens in Corvallis, Oregon. It was formed in January of 2007 and operates under the auspices of the Oregon Natural Step Network (www.ortns.org).
Over 135 organizations have joined the Sustainability Coalition as partners, including groups as diverse as the Corvallis-Benton Chamber Coalition, OSU Student Sustainability Initiative, and the League of Women Voters of Corvallis. Check out our current list of partners under "About Us".
The Coalition has two major projects for 2008:

Corvallis Energy Challenge - A year-long campaign to help Corvallis area residents and businesses boost energy efficiency, control energy costs, and build a cleaner future with renewable energy.

Community Sustainability Initiative - A public process designed to create a Community Sustainability Action Plan by December 2008. The process has revolved around three Town Hall meetings and the efforts of 12 volunteer work groups.
