The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition has launched a series of town hall meetings and other activities that will lead to the creation of a community sustainability action plan in 2008.  Be part of it!

 Prior to the meeting, we conducted a survey to gather information about your interests related to sustainability.  The results are being used to help us plan for the three Town Hall meetings. The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition is a a network of organizations and citizens in Corvallis, Oregon. It was formed in January of 2007 and operates under the auspices of the Oregon Natural Step Network. 

Nearly 100 organizations have joined as partners, including groups as diverse as the Corvallis-Benton Chamber Coalition, OSU Student Sustainability Initiative, and the League of Women Voters of Corvallis.  Check out our current list of partners under "About Us".

Our steering committee meets twice a month. Task groups are focused on specific issues, including:

  • Energy
  • Green Building
  • Land Use
  • Local Food Promotion
  • Sustainability Education  
  • Waste Prevention
